The prayer times in our practice are based on the calendar named 1334 [AD 1916] (İlmiyye sâl nâmesi) prepared by the highest rank of Ottoman scholars (Meşîhat-i İslâmiyye) and the calendar dated 1958 and numbered 14 of Istanbul University Kandilli Observatory (Türkiye Mahsûs Evkât).
